A bit about me...
I have lived in Leeds for 7 years and work in Recruitment, and originated from Brighton. I love baking and cake decorating, have an eclectic taste in music, and can dance in shoes that don't look possible to walk in!

I'm a member of the WI because...
I liked the idea of a new wave arts and crafts women's group that could be a part of the community. The WI aspect came from a deep desire to sing Jerusalem and a realisation that everything we wanted to achieve from a women's group was being upheld by the WI! And it gives me an excellent excuse to drink cocktails bi-weekly!

My craft credentials are...
Ooh I'm the main baker and cake nerd of our team! I have dabbled in most textiles and arts, not amazing at them all but I know enough to get others started!

My favourite beverage is...
well, alcoholic beverage I think it's got to be the Daiquiri or the Green Fairy - yummy! However, the drink which has kept me going for many many years is the humble cup of tea. I started off with weak sugary milky tea and now I have such a strong cup it would make a builder weep!

If my life was a film three songs on the soundtrack would be...
Big Shot by Billy Joel - One of my earliest memories is singing it in a pub karaoke when I was about 4! Holiday by The Get Up Kids is one of the songs that will truly make me happy when I hear it out and I will insist on making others dance with me. My third is Praise Chorus by Jimmy Eat World, it's all about turning 25 and having a lovely time!
