Our next meeting is on Thursday 19th July. We will be meeting at the Cosmopolitan Hotel on Lower Briggate: please arrive from 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.

Our meeting is supporting the WI's commitment to minimising waste and we have an excellent speaker from a local business Seagull's Paints.

For anyone who does not know about this business:

Seagulls is an environmental social enterprise. They run their business with the 3 P's in mind: Planet, People, Profit.
Developed by Cat and Kate around Kate's kitchen table back in 2001 the enterprise became a Limited Company in 2004 and has grown into a well established and respected social enterprise. They have many strings to their bow but their main bread and butter is Paint.
They have 2 paint stores in Leeds and run a community arts project: Seagulls Mosaic.

As well as a talk from the above you are welcome to bring along any of your current craft projects to work on and we will also bring along the famous Buns & Roses craft stash that you can help yourself from.

Don't forget that there will be sandwiches available for which a donation would be appreciated.

If you would like to join Buns & Roses the membership fee for the whole of 2018 is just £41.00 (£20.50 for new members after 1st July). This gets you free entry to our meetings, priority workshop bookings and so much more.

Present as a woman, treat as a woman policy

Our usual base is at the Cosmo, arguably in the heart of the unofficial Rainbow Quarter in Leeds, it's no surprise that Buns & Roses are out and out LGBTQ allies. We understand that all women need safe spaces to be themselves in and meet like minded ladies, which is why we are here to support you through every stage of your journey
